AG looking to see if candidate Trump was indeed ‘wiretapped’

We all recall how the mainstream media along with pompous progressive political pundits ridiculed then candidate Donald Trump before and after the 2016 election claiming that he along with suits in Trump Towers were “wiretapped.”

Well those allegations just might prove to be true, after it was just revealed that the FBI had wiretapped Trump’s former campaign manger Paul Manafort who at the time was living in Trump Towers.

That blockbuster revelation reported by CNN on Monday confirms that the FBI did indeed “wiretap” Paul Manafort’s phone before and after the 2016 election.

Sources familiar with the issue confirmed to CNN that in 2014 the government obtained a secret FISA warrant, regarding Manafort’s dealing as a consultant working for the Ukrainian government

That warrant reportedly terminated in 2016, however the FBI obtained a second FISA warrant that encompassed the early part of 2017, that period where Manafort was recruited as Trump’s campaign manger, and most likely would have been conversing on occasion with the President by phone.

What isn’t clear is why the FBI didn’t inform the Trump campaign that Manafort was being investigated by the FBI. This leads me to speculate that although Trump wasn’t the focus of the probe, the FBI nevertheless wanted to “illegally” garner information on then candidate Trump, hoping to perhaps find something questionable within the wiretap surveillance.

Which no doubt has raised red flags for Attorney General William Barr who has vowed to get to the bottom of the Trump-Russia collusion hoax.

The revelation that Manafort was wiretapped in Trump Towers during a pivotal period within the 2016 Presidential Election and not immediately disclosed by investigators suggests that there may have been a well orchestrated cover-up between a assortment of players, including former FBI Director Comey, former Deputy Attorney General Rosenstein, Acting FBI Director McCabe and Special Counsel Robert Mueller who investigated Manafort ad-nauseam, and never throughout his entire investigation of Manafort along with the 480 page report made any reference to being wiretapped while residing at Trump Towers when he was the campaign manager.

Perhaps that’s the reason why Attorney General Barr says he now has more questions than answers about this whole probe, and that the answers he’s received thus far just don’t “hang together.”

The President appearing on Fox’s “Hannity” Wednesday night,  a day after formally launching his 2020 re-election bid informed the congenial host that the Attorney General is working to determine if indeed his personal phone at Trump Towers were secretly “wiretapped” and or “monitored” in light of the  Manafort disclosure during the 2016 campaign — a possibility he called “the ultimate.”

The President also weighted in on how House Democrats mistreated his former top communication advisor Hope Hicks, stating they put the young woman “through hell.”

Trump was referring to leaked photos by the media of Hicks being grilled before a closed-door session on Capitol Hill earlier in the day.

The former Trump staffer is currently the Executive Vice President and Chief Communications Officer for Fox Corporation and Fox News is a subsidiary of Fox Corporation, which is perhaps the reason for the rough treatment.

“What’s happened to the Democrats, and in the meantime, they’re not doing any work in Congress,” Trump told Sean Hannity, calling the party “unhinged.”

Adding, “They’re not allowed to do that. It’s probably illegal,” Trump said, referring to the leaked pictures of Hicks. Some Democrats complained that Hicks, in her appearance before the House Judiciary Committee, was ordered by the White House to stay quiet about her time as an aide to Trump, citing legal privileges.

Do you think Attorney General Barr will get to the bottom of who might have “wiretapped” the President’s private phone during the 2016 Presidential Election?

Do you believe that Special Counsel Robert Mueller actually attempted to obstruct justice by not disclosing Manafort was being “wiretapped” at Trump Towers while campaign manager?

  1. The whole crowd of Dirty Democrats is a total disgrace, all the crap they perpetrated prior to the election and all the BS going on too this day is criminal. I hope the AG finds the evidence to prosecute these low lives and put them behind bars where they belong. Congress is supposed to do things to better our country and this congress led by the Democratic Party majority has not done a damn thing to better this country. Everything they do is disgraceful, bad mouthing our country and our President with all these vulgarities. I hope the next election turns up some candidates that are serious about working with the President and accomplishing and resolving important issues that will promote us to a better life.

  2. I do believe AG Barr will dig until he unravels the various FISA warrants aimed at illegally spying on a Republican candidate for president as well as a sitting President (in at least early 2017). I also believe Manafort was wired by the FBI and without informing Trump.

  3. AG Barr needs to work his way to the top, and hold all accountable including President Obama, if it goes that high !—And very well may.

Illegals are just that and should all be removed!!!! – GREAT JOB PRESIDENT TRUMP !!!!!!!!!!

  4. I believe Mueller new that Trump was being wiretapped. Mueller is an anti-trump hater and is a demorat.
