A Defiant Sanders Says He’s Not Going Anywhere!

It his typical angry old man, “get offa my lawn” style, Sen. Bernie Sanders said he is not leaving the race, despite getting trounced for the second week in a row by former VP, Joe Biden.

The obviously butt-hurt Bernie, refused to speak Tuesday night, but held a press conference Wednesday, where he told the voters, Biden, and other Dems who thought it was time to toss in the towel, exactly what he thinks.

Rather than announcing the suspension of his campaign as some thought he might do, a bitter Bernie confirmed that  he plans to stay in the Democrat primary in his first remarks since losing four states on Tuesday and falling further behind front-runner Joe Biden in the delegate count.

During the press conference in Burlington, Vermont, Sanders said he looks forward to debating Biden on Sunday in Arizona. He also noted that he plans to press the former vice president on issues such as Medicare for All, energy and immigration.

Sanders also admitted that Tuesday night was not a good one for his campaign and acknowledged he is losing the argument over electability. He warned the Democrat establishment that they need to win young voters and speak to issues which concern them.

The co-chair of the Sanders’ campaign, Rep. Ro Khannah (D-Calif.), also acknowledged that “polling and momentum” unquestionably belongs to Biden. In a interview Wednesday, the congressman said that Sanders’ main competitor had a very strong night following Tuesday’s primaries.

Biden walked away owning the big prize of Michigan, along with four other primary states. He led by nearly 150 delegates, but Khannah said Sanders will continue to move forward and push issues like climate change as well as tackling student loans.

Sanders said he had spoken to a number of voters who supported his policy proposals but backed Joe Biden because they feared Sanders could not defeat Trump. The president has yet to weigh in on Sanders decision to stay in the race.

Despite the Sanders’ campaign’s optimism, many sources have said that alone is not enough to beat out Biden, especially given the victory train the former VP seems to currently be on.

  1. Bernie is a fool for continuing. But no one had ever accused him of having a surplus of brains or of being in touch with the broad voting public.

  2. Bernie is always talking about legalizing illegal immigrants so since he is a multi millionaire who owns 3 houses he could open up 2 of his houses to illegal immigrants he could show all of us mean people how these illegals should be treated

  3. Joe Biden and Obama are too close for comfort. Both left wing, anti American, Socialist, Marxists. What’s sleepy Joe’s better way of doing things? A new world order maybe. Obama is a white guy pretending to be a nigger, Biden’s a nigger pretending to be a white guy.

  4. The Dimcraps are in deep do-do. Bernie can’t beat Trump,
    and Biden’s senility will be on full display by Nov 3 . . . . .

  5. Good for him but even better for us. Good old Bernie will split the vote and Trump will win by a land slide over both him and Biden. Both are nothing but old men too sick to run bath water, too stupid to get out of their own way and these are the cream of the crop for democrats. How pathetic can you get.
